    Responsibilities

    • Knowledge and understanding of all payer sources/websites/clearing houses and the ability to access remits and payments from a variety of sources for prompt posting in AHT and PCC
    • Communication with direct reports for updates/changes to Cash Posting and Reconciliation policies and procedures
    • Management and oversight of all Cash Posting and Cash Reconciliation team members and activities
    • Management and oversight of all Secondary Healthcare Claim Billing
    • Work with Regional/Facility Business Office personnel to ensure adequate communication with facility personnel to ensure all remits and cash deposits received at the facility are sent to the corporate office in compliance with outlined policies and procedures and subsequently posted to the proper accounts
    • Communication with Medicare, Managed Care, Medicaid Manager within the Central Business Office
    • Identification, design and/or reengineering, of new/existing processes for Cash Posting to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
    • Identification of new/existing technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Cash Posting process
    • Knowledge with AHT and PCC billing and cash posting functionality
    • Maintain billing notes in AHT and PCC when necessary
    • Training/Coaching/Mentoring of all direct reports
    • Direct responsibility and oversight of Cash Reconciliation and Cash Posting for 76+ Centers throughout the month and an integral level of responsibility during Month End Close. 
    • Assist with month-end bad debt estimation for Accounting

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years Commercial Health Plan Billing experience required
    • Minimum of 3 years Manager level or higher experience in a Healthcare Billing environment 
    • Long Term Care experience preferred
    • Strong organization and analytical skills 
    • Team and customer service oriented
    • Knowledge of MS Excel and Word
    • Leadership experience with strong communication skills
    • Zirmed experience preferred
    • Extensive Cash Posting and Cash Reconciliation experience in a Healthcare Setting
    • Revenue Cycle experience
