Responsibilities


You will provide hands-on assistance, guidance and consultation for all aspects of the physical facility operation for each of the assigned 23 centers located in Kansas, Mississippi, and Texas as outlined in the Maintenance Policy and
Procedure Manual including but not limited to:

  • Provide on-going training with center maintenance departments.
  • Train users in the use of a computerized maintenance management system. 
  • Consult with contractors on scope of work and pricing in proposals for work.
  • Manage contractors, inspect contracted work and give guidance on discrepancies.
  • Conduct center audits to include Life Safety, equipment condition, building appearance, deferred maintenance, safety concerns, capital needs and maintenance staff assessments.
  • Interpret building plans, specifications, property condition assessments and or other technical information for buildings and equipment.
  • Make repairs and conduct the duties of Maintenance Supervisor in any assigned center.
  • Respond as needed to facility emergencies or urgent tasks.
  • Provide prompt response to calls and electronic communication as needed.
  • Participate in Regional meetings, activities and training as requested.
  • Interpret policies and procedures and adhere to standards.
  • Completion of assigned task and accurate reporting

Qualifications

  • Flexibility to travel extensively within assigned regions as needed.
  • Experienced troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment preferred.
  • EPA certification preferred.
  • Electrical experience preferred.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of equipment is required.
  • Prior healthcare maintenance experience preferred.
  • Possess critical thinking skills to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer skills necessary.
