We're seeking a passionate and experienced leader to join us as our Director of Quality of Life. In this vital role, you'll be a champion for our residents, empowering our center teams to create vibrant and engaging environments that promote well-being and fulfillment. You'll be a mentor, a coach, and a strategic partner, guiding our Activities and Social Services programs to ensure they not only meet but exceed federal and state guidelines.

What You'll Do:

• Inspire and Empower: Provide training, support, and mentorship to center-based Activities and Social Services teams, fostering their growth and development.
• Cultivate Excellence: Conduct regular audits of center programs, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating on action plans to enhance resident and family satisfaction.
• Strategic Visionary: Contribute to the development of innovative activity and social services programs, guidelines, and protocols at the Support Center, regional, and center levels.
• Talent Catalyst: Assist in developing regional and center-level talent and performance management strategies, empowering teams to deliver exceptional care.
• Compliance Champion: Ensure all programs adhere to federal and state guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of quality and care.
• Collaborative Partner: Work closely with Center and Regional team members, fostering strong relationships and open communication to achieve shared goals.

What You'll Bring:

• Deep understanding of Social Services and Activities requirements in long-term care and/or behavioral health.
• 5+ years of experience in Activities/Social Services within an acute or post-acute care setting (skilled nursing/long-term care preferred).
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a mid-level management position overseeing Activities and/or Social Services.
• Activities certification or comparable certification and/or Licensed Social Worker (required within 3 months of hire).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
