Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

 

As our Accounting Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our financial team, responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity in our daily transactions. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Recording and reconciling bank transactions and statements with the general ledger.
    • Processing and reconciling resident trust accounts and monthly petty cash reports.
    • Preparing and filing monthly sales and bed tax returns and payments.
    • Assisting with monthly financial reports, outstanding checks, and special projects as needed.
    • Communicating daily with our various locations to resolve questions.

 

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping.
  • Education: An Associate's Degree is required.
  • Skills: You are a professional, courteous, and effective communicator, both in writing and on the phone.
  • Technical Proficiency: You have strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a preference for experience in Acumatica and Blackline.
  • Adaptability: You can manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and take ownership of your assigned tasks.
  • Team Player: You are excellent at building positive relationships and working as part of a team.
